Point Pleasant is one of the states most well known shore communities. If you are from out of town and you could only visit 5 shore towns on our coast, this should be one of them. In the summer clams are plentiful as well as many other types of local seafood. There is an above-average sized boardwalk filled with games, rides and food vendors.
One Mile Long But Miles of Fun!
Despite being only a few miles away from other beaches and summer attractions, the boardwalk in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ has a lot to offer visitors. It is home to the Jenkinson’s Boardwalk, which attracts families with children of all ages because it has rides, games, and activities that everyone will enjoy.
Other places you can go on or near this boardwalk include numerous arcades, the beach, and the Jenkinson’s Aquarium, where you can see a variety of animals, take part in kid-friendly activities, and possibly adopt an animal!
