About the Seaside Heights Boardwalk in NJ

Located just north of Long Beach Island, Seaside Heights has a mile long boardwalk and a very nice beach. There is plenty to do on the boardwalk. The Boardwalk is particularly popular with young people, and in 1999 and 2002 MTV picked it as the location for it's summer beach house, broadcasting from there all summer long. Just south along the ocean is Seaside Park, which has a quiet boardwalk, delightful beaches, and a variety of excellent restaurants. Just south of these towns is Island Beach State Park. The classic aura of Seaside Heights is not to be missed. At night it feels a bit seedy but it is a good type of seedy. The sights and sounds of the Boardwalk evokes many good childhood memories for New Jersey Natives. If you could only pick one Boardwalk in NJ to visit, then the mile long Seaside Heights Boardwalk is a must visit.

Seaside Heights is one of the most famous Seaside towns in the world and probably the third most visited in New Jersey. The boardwalk is full of fun game stands. Many game stands have wheels of 밹hance?where prizes range from stuffed animals to televisions, bicycles, and more. You will also find pizzerias, souvenir shops, beach gear stores, arcades and ice cream parlors on the boardwalk. The Seaside Heights boardwalk is bookended by two 300-foot long piers that feature amusement rides, carousels, log flumes, roller coasters, Ferris wheels and more. One of these piers is the world-famous Casino Pier, home to a 1913 circa merry-go-round, the Niagara Falls log flume and the Star Jet roller coaster. The other is the Funtown Amusement Pier home to the Tower of Fear, Seaside's tallest ferris wheel and a go-kart track. Across from Casino Pier is the redeveloped Jenkinson's Breakwater Beach waterpark (formerly WaterWorks). Many of the businesses are still family-owned and operated and have been almost as long as the boardwalk has been around.

There is plenty of parking in the municipal lot that is within walking distance of the boardwalks.
