Although we’re often overlooked in favor of our more glamorous neighbor, New York City, the Garden State is a still a very viable and (extremely popular) vacation destination worth exploring.

Especially when it comes to some amazingly cool beach town excursions available along the New Jersey coastline.

Now of course, you can stay on board and revel in all of the really cool excursions in New Jersey, or conversely you can quickly jump ship (which we don’t blame you) and take a cruise ship out of the Garden State.

Here at we’ve done this a bunch of times.

It’s not that we want to leave our heritage. We love our home city (state), it’s just that we want to explore the world!

So, with that being said, I will never forget the first time were my wife and I were leaving New Jersey on a cruise to Bermuda!
