Liberty Science Center 222 Jersey City Blvd., Jersey City, NJ
There is something fishy going on at LSC and it's fun for all ages! We have large aquaria filled with fish, shellfish, turtles, and even a small shark. Can you spot the nearly invisible camouflaged flounder? See massive fishes swim gracefully through the water? Observe a turtle having an underwater nap? Visit the Touch Tank, watch animal feedings, explore hands on activities such as dredging a "river," operating a port crane, and more. Once you see the fish, you can explore our 7 other major exhibit galleries. LSC is conveniently located in Jersey City near the Statue of Liberty and has a full-service café and a large "science-to-go" store. Find us on Facebook! NOTE: Check out LSC.org or call 201.253.1310 for schedules—not all activities are available at all times. (We don't want our fish to get fat with too many feedings!).
