Deer Path Riding Stable offers a relaxing and scenic ride through the Pocono forest. It's a great way to enjoy the beautiful Pocono outdoors. Gentle horses, friendly, helpful guides and an "easy does it" pace make our ride suitable even for the first time rider. Our rides are geared towards people who are looking to spend some leisurely, pleasant time on a horse.

Our trails meander through fields and woods full of freshwater springs, mountain laurel, and rhododendron. Deer and wild turkey are often seen. We are the only stable in the western Poconos that accepts credit cards. Open 7 days a week. Open at 8:30a.m. for reservations. Rides available every hour 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and reservations are advised.

Walk on the mile long boardwalk that criss-crosses the stream a couple of times and climb the stairs that go up to the top of the 200 foot falls. Open in the Summer daily from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Closed in the Winter.

Big Pocono State Park
A day trip to the Poconos would not be complete without a visit to Big Pocono State Park in Monroe County in northeastern Pennsylvania. The park consists of 1,306 acres of rugged terrain on the summit and slopes of Camelback Mountain. From the summit, visitors can enjoy a magnificent view of a vast portion of eastern Pennsylvania and portions of New Jersey and New York. The park closes the day after the end of deer season in December and reopens as conditions permit in the spring. The park is open sunrise to sunset.
