Almost every day of the week there's lots of free things to do at Jenkinson's Boardwalk, Aquarium and North Inlet Beach.

Sundays at 7pm, a New Jersey tradition continues with NJ 101.5's Big Joe Jersey Talent Show on the beach at Jenkinson's!

Mondays at 6pm, explore the shore with staff during this free program and see what you can find! Great for all ages! Meet in front of the Aquarium! Then starting at 7pm, Kiddie Beach Shows in front of the Amusement Park.

Tuesdays from 5 - 7pm, it's character dining with Perky. Bring the kids to Pavilion Oceanside Dining for 50% off Kids Meals with each Adult purchase of $20 per child.

Wednesdays are jam-packed with activities! From noon to 6pm, Grandma and Grandpa ride FREE at Jenkinson's Amusement Park with a paying child. *One grandparent per child is allowed free. At 6pm, take BINGO a step further; instead of numbers, you will use common items found on the beach! Meet in front of the aquarium, ages 5 -12. Plus, bring your hermit crabs to Jenkinson's Boardwalk and race for prizes! Registration begins at 5 pm, races start at 7 pm across from the Aquarium Gift Shop.

Thursdays from 5:30 - 6:30pm, there's More to the Shore. Join an expert from Jenkinson's Aquarium on a beach walk to learn something new about the animals that call the Jersey Shore home. Discover what you can do to keep their home clean.

Every Thursday at dark is Fireworks on the beach! Fridays at dark is Free Family Movies. Bring a blanket, kick back, and enjoy the show!

All events above begin June 22 and are weather permitting and may be cancelled with little or no notice.

Special Yearly Events include: July 4th Independence Day Fireworks at Dark ; July 26 & 27 - Christmas in July ; July 31 - August 4 - Shark Week ; August 9 & 10 - Pirate Fest ; August 23 & 24 - Hot Halloween ; September 4 - Labor Day Fireworks at Dark.

July 5 kicks off Jenkinson's Music Fest on the Inlet Beach starting at 7:30 pm. Bring your cooler, blanket and chair and see the stars come out over the Atlantic Ocean! The Music Fest takes place every Wednesday from July 5 - August 30. All concerts are subject to cancellation due to inclement weather.

Located at Shore Road and Golf Street in Somers Point, NJ, Somers Mansion is the oldest house in the area. Built in 1725 by Richard Somers, the son of the famous John Somers, a man who made major contributions to the transformational history of New Jersey, this mansion is now treasured as one of Atlantic County's biggest historical gifts. Much like John Somers was a keeper of the roads, Somers Mansion is now a keeper of information and teaches visitors about the area.

The mansion is a three story, brick finished home with patterned laying brick and is a demonstration of how houses looked in the past. It is essentially history frozen in time, exhibiting many unique collections of antique quilts, old furniture and lots of memorabilia of local NJ significance. The mansion is open in the summer, Tuesday 7-9pm, Thursday 10-12pm, and Saturday 10-1pm.

This NJ lighthouse stands 44 feet tall and can be seen up to 15 miles off shore. Its once utilization of a historic Fresnel lens makes this lighthouse a sight see. In 1921, the station became the first ever to feature a radio beacon on land so communication with ships became possible. Guided tours are available for the hospital complex, where you can visit infectious and contagious disease wards, the laundry room, kitchen, staff housing, autopsy room and other living quarters.
