Founded in 2005 Mount Salem Vineyards has been making fine wines ever since. Located in Hunterdon County New Jersey, Mount Salem Vineyards takes pride not only in the wine they make but the soil they use to grow their grapes. Not only does Mount Salem Vineyards grow their own grapes, but they also source fruit through long-time partnerships with local growers to add diversity to their wines.
All the wines are made on location in very small quantities, growing grapes sustainably and vinifying them in a classic style using modern cellar methods.
Because they make wine in such limited quantities they mostly sell their product through subscriptions. Not only do the subscribers get amazing wines but also enjoy private gatherings on location. Any extra surplus of wines after the subscribers receive their wines is available to the public by the bottle or the case.
