Avalon Boardwalk is about a half-mile-long boardwalk in Cape May County, NJ. You can walk, jog, run, or enjoy an early morning bike ride. Bicycles are only permitted on the boardwalk between 5 and 10 in the morning. On the boardwalk you will find a number of places to explore. There is an arcade, a pizzeria, and an ice cream shop, as well as a playground and skate park. This is a great boardwalk to enjoy if you want to avoid the crazy crowds of larger boardwalks but still spend a fun day with the family!
The boardwalk stretches from 21st to 32nd Street along the oceanfront in Avalon, NJ, in a quiet, upscale beach town on Seven Mile Island.
The boardwalk is shorter and less commercialized than others in NJ, offering a peaceful stroll with ocean views. There is a lot of free public lots near the boardwalk with no fees.
