Information about Echo Lake Stables Horseback Riding in NJ

Echo Lake Stables offers fun trail rides all year round as well as horseback riding lessons, night rides, hayrides, and pony rides! Their trail rides follow the paths of the ancient Indians from the beautiful mountainsides to swiftly running streams, beside centuries-old rock walls. All rides are guided. Children must be at least 7 years of age to ride on the trails, and riders must weigh below 225 pounds, including clothing and shoes.

Nighttime adventure ride with an old-fashioned Western Barbeque

Echo Lake Stables also offers year-round nighttime horseback riding adventures on Friday and Saturday nights. The nighttime horseback riding adventure leaves the stable area every Friday and Saturday evening at 6:00pm. Please call for times and reservations. On the nighttime adventure ride, you will go through the woods and through small streams under the light of the moon and stars. You will then arrive at a campsite and enjoy a 1 1/2-hour old-fashioned Western cookout with unlimited free food! You then play fun games with your partner as you listen to live entertainment.

You can also do some line dancing with your partner! A quick hayride back to your car caps the evening. The nighttime ride is $70 per person, which includes all the food you can handle.
