South Street Green Park
Keep going down South Green Street to the end and you will see the Park. This is a great crabbing spot in the Ocean County area! At the end of the road there is a small park area with railings around it, parking, a pavilion and a bathroom. The South Green Street Park is a perfect place to spend the afternoon crabbing because you'd be doing so right off the bulkhead. You will see other fellow crabbers who will be willing to lend a hand if you're not really sure how to crab.

For crabbing spots, the Keansburg Fishing Pier, right behind the amusement park, is a great spot. The pier is even more fun if you rent scoopers and net the blue crabs that hang on the piling.
Great Bay Blvd/Seven Bridges Road

This is a very nice secluded area. The first bridge is a beautiful location for crabbing in NJ because it has a pedestrian walkway along one side and crabbing on the other. The second and third bridge areas on this road don't have easy access from bridges, but you could easily crab along the banks of the creeks.
Playhouse Road E., Mystic Island
Down Radio Road, right before Big Creek Bridge, you will find Mystic Island. If you take a left turn at the end of road, you will a good spot for crabbing, right along the edge of the lagoon. There are also the remains of an old dock area with pilings that can be explored.

Bass River Bridge area
New Gretna, NJ
Bass River, under the Parkway and Rt. 9 bridge is a surprisingly good spot to crab. Tou will find it by going South on Rt. 9 and going over the bridge. If you make your first left or right and go back along the bridge, you should be set for a day of crabbing with the family.
