Things to See and Do in Cranbury NJ, Middlesex County

For me, Cranbury is somewhat reminiscent of Bordentown Township. Cranbury is, however, a little quieter. The Village of Cranbury is a National Historic District. There are many warehouses in Cranbury that employ the locals. Cranbury is probably one of the best overall places to live in Middlesex County NJ.

Italian Touch Restaurant And Pizza 

Italian Touch is a small casual pizzeria tucked a little bit off the Cranbury South River Road just off of Route 130. This is one of those pizzerias, where they are obviously doing things right. A lot of small pizzerias have just okay mediocre Italian food. Italian touch has actually made our top Italian restaurants in New Jersey list. Their dishes are traditional but most of them have a flare added to them which makes them special and a little bit out of the ordinary. Some of our favorite dishes include the eggplant rollatini appetizer, there baked ziti, chicken Parmesan, chicken française, and their vodka sauce. They have some really nice outside seating in the warmer months, and the restaurant is BYOB.

Cranbury Pizza

located right downtown and Cranbury, this is an even smaller pizzeria. Its the go to place for locals for pie and quick dinners. They are known for their famous Margarita pizzas, buffalo chicken, and grandma pies. Locals say to try their cheesy bread. It is also a solid spot for pasta. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. They also have small outdoor seating area. It is the classic neighborhood pizzeria joint that everyone wishes they had in their town!

Molto Bene Ristorante & Cicchetti Bar

This is another classic local BYOB Italian joint inside of a rustic house. As their name suggests suggests, they offer up Venetian inspired tapas style dishes. The restaurant is small, decorated very quaintly and very simply lovely and welcoming. Try the meat and cheese board, calamari and their meatball appetizer. They also have a fabulous brunch menu on the weekends.
