Algonquin Arts Theatre is a non-profit corporation founded in 1992 to provide cultural enrichment for residents of Monmouth and Ocean Counties. They do this through a plethora of high-quality performances ranging from comedies, musicals, plays, children's theatre, concerts, and special events. Their 517-seat theatre offers comfortable seating for their sold-out shows. Besides their rich theatre productions, Algonquin Arts Theatre has multiple other series throughout the year. They have a Broadway series that highlights the most popular New York Broadway hits right here in New Jersey! They also have Jazz and Orchestra series performed by the best New Jersey and New York musicians.
Algonquin Arts Theatre has many fine arts education helping kids of all ages become passionate about theatre. They have educational workshops that teach kids the fundamentals of theatre. They havea performing arts academy, a theatre school and educational workshops all designed to bring out children's passion for acting and theatre.
