Incorporated in 1916 The Tenafly Rifle and Pistol Club has been teaching Bergen County residents the importance of gun safety ever since. Their mission is to encourage the safe handling and proper use and care of recreational firearms, as well as hone their marksmanship skills. Their facility has a number of features including an old fashioned gallery with moving targets, thirteen shooting ports with targets twenty-five yards away, target holders for members looking to shoot at closer distances as well as a meeting room with a full-service kitchen.
Firearms are restricted to centerfire handguns (no magnum loads are allowed), 22cal rimfire pistols and rifles and pistol caliber carbines. So be sure to call ahead of time to make sure your firearm is permitted.
