Visit the lovely Victorian town of Cape May. If you have never been to Cape may then you must take a tour of the beautiful streets to view all the Victorian homes and bed & breakfasts. Cape May has some of the best dining establishments in all of New Jersey. The Washington Street Mall consists of really cool tiny shops lined on a cobblestone street. Located just 10 miles south of Avalon/Stone Harbor...you will embark on a 17 mile (80 min) voyage across the Delaware Bay! Take your car or park for free and ride as a foot passenger! Grab a cocktail and some snacks for the kids and enjoy the ride! Lastly don't forget the Cape May County Zoo. Have a wild time as you explore nearly 80 acres of beautifully maintained exhibits. With almost 200 different species of mammals, birds, amphibians and reptiles totaling nearly 550 animals, you are sure to see something new! Open every day....rain or shine! Bring a picnic lunch and dine in the park or eat at the zoo outdoor cafe! Oh and by the way....the zoo is free!
