Come for a day of camps, workshops and family programs. Trailside Nature and Science Center visitor center re-opened in 2006 after an extensive renovation and re-modeling. Trailside location in the scenic Watchung Reservation provides the perfect classroom to have fun while learning about the environment and natural world around us. There is over 4,500 square feet of interactive environmental exhibits to get down and dirty and explore nature. Teachers also lead programs that educate children about predator prey relationships, wildlife rehab, and environmental issues in the natural habitat of these animals. This is a one of a kind experience to get in tune with the natural world.
