The Montclair State University Ice Arena Skating Program has been designed for all ages and abilities. The goal of each coach is to develop the skills of all skaters at their own pace and to ensure each skater leaves with a positive learning experience. The Montclair State University Ice Arena's Summer Figure Skating Program runs from late June to late August.
Camps are instructed by an in-house and world-class professional staff. Skaters learn moves in the field, jumps, spins, footwork, stroking, specialty clinics, off ice training and more. Every Friday, campers and their parents are invited to the rink for a themed exhibition. Floyd Hall Arena's camp also promotes creativity, campers receive a t-shirt to make their costume for the week!
Montclair State University Ice Arenaalso offers a youth hockey camp from late June to late August. The camp is designed to improve players' skills and abilities while promoting teamwork, sportsmanship and respect for others. Hockey camp includes a jersey and weekly prizes and awards, drills catered to each child's ability, hockey and non-hockey activities, a Friday BBQ and game and guest coaches. The arena also offers various learn to skate programs throughout the year for both youth and adult.
