Urban Sewciety is a unique Sewing Lounge and Boutique located in the heart of Union County, NJ. They offer three separate fashion design party packages for ages 8 years and older. The Hand Sewing Craft Party allows children to choose from one of several projects. Kids learn how to use an embroidery needle and thread/felt to make their selected project. Options include Emoji pillows, stuffed animals or a clutch - projects can be customized to party themes. The Learn-to-Sew Birthday Party is great for children who are interested in learning how to sew and make a unique project in just a few hours.


A professional party instructor will teach the party guests how to use a sewing machine, then they can use the fabrics to make their selected project which ranges from a clutch to a pillow or infinity scarf. The birthday host can request a project as well! The No-Sew T-shirt Redo Party is great for pre-teens and teens. Party guests can discover their inner fashion designer as they transform a plain t-shirt into a totally unique and stylish look. The studio provides a white, black or colored shirt, as well as the fabrics and embellishments, then the instructors will teach the group how to transform the shirt.
