For 20 years, Young at Art Studio has developed and strengthened creative skills, helped to build self-esteem and encouraged self-expression for children and adults in Matawan, NJ and the surrounding communities. As more and more schools throughout New Jersey are cutting art education, programs offered at Young at Art Studio become a vital, nurturing space for children to express themselves. During the school year, Young at Art Studio offers after school programs for children and teens in painting and drawing. Students are taught various techniques and are guided step-by-step by patient teachers.
Adult painting and drawing classes for all levels are held weekly. Even if you have never picked up a paintbrush in your life, come out and give it a try, their instructors are patient and work with beginner students every step. Friday nights are reserved for adult BYOB painting classes, as well as private events. Bring your favorite adult beverage and learn how to mix colors, paint with various techniques and create a piece you can be proud of!
