The Yard School of Art at MAM is a leading regional art school that offers an array of classes for children, teens, and adults, including painting. The Museum offers ten-week courses and one- or two- day workshops, as well as the SummerART Camp for children. Class themes include introduction to painting, painting portraits, watercolor, oil painting, and more. Instruction is available at all levels year-round. Small classes—15 students maximum— ensure individual attention and are taught by experienced faculty who are working artists.
Courses for Kids and Adults This art school offers four 10 week sessions each year, once in each season. Each session features several guest art instructors and covers a variety of painting concepts and styles. If you are looking for NJ painting classes where creativity and individuality are encouraged, then these classes are for you. In these classes each student progresses at his or her own pace and new concepts are taught when they are ready for them.
