Free parking and free admission Sunset Beach is a popular dog park in Cape May, New Jersey. Dogs are permitted from September 15 through April 15th. There are pet-friendly restaurants nearby as well. Dogs allowed all year round! Dogs are permitted at Island State Beach Park in all areas except the lifeguarded swimming area and the Spizzle Creek Bird Blind Trail. All dogs must be kept on a leash no longer than 6 feet. This is a great place to bring your dogs in the summer months as well as the off-season!
One of the best dog parks in NJ! Dogs are permitted in the early morning and evening hours all summer long at the 8th Avenue Beach in Asbury Park! Bring your dogs to play between the hours of 6pm and 9am during the summer months. Dogs are allowed on the beach all day during the off-season. You can let your dogs loose, but please use discretion if your dogs are not used to other dogs or not well-trained yet.

Dogs permitted on western shore The western shore of Sandy Hook is dog-friendly! Leashed dogs are permitted on the Inlet side of the park at all times. There are no park amenities such as life guards or food places available on this side of the park, but your dogs will get to play freely without restrictions. Dogs are not allowed on the eastern shore of the recreation area.
Designated area for dogs Barnegat Light has a designated dog park located on West 10th Street that is open to furry friends year-round. All licensed, well-behaved dogs are welcome! Dogs are allowed on Long Beach Island during the off-season (between October 1 and April 30) and on other areas of Barnegat Light beaches from October 1 through April 15. All dogs must be on a leash.
Dogs allowed in the morning and evening Bring your dogs to the beach in Stone Harbor between 80th and 84th Streets. They must be leashed and are allowed from sunrise to 9am, and then again from 6pm until sunset during summer months and other times of the year. They are not allowed on the beach during daytime hours.
Dogs allowed in the off-season from 8am-3pm During the off-season (October 1 through April 30), you can bring your dog to the beach at Point Pleasant from the hours of 8am until 3pm. Unlike most beaches, you are not limited to morning or evening hours! Enjoy an afternoon stroll with your dog at Point Pleasant. All dogs must be on a leash.

Located at the far-end of Ocean City, this wildlife conservation area provides a safe and fun environment for your dogs without you having to worry about leash and timing rules. Dogs are welcome all year round at Malibu Beach. It is unofficially-known as a “doggie beach” and it’s one of the best places to bring dogs in the area!
Take a scenic walk with your dog Dogs are welcome year-round at Fisherman’s Cove Conservation Area in Manasquan, New Jersey. All dogs must be on a leash. This beautiful 55-acre site is a great place to walk your dog and appreciate wildlife and scenery. There is also an off-leash dog area at Thompson Park in Lincroft, which is located nearby.
