10-week riding camps! Kierson Farm is located on 20 beautiful acres in the heart of Hunterdon County, New Jersey. Their huge property affords lessons, training, boarding, birthday parties and riding camps. They offer several different camp programs throughout the year. The Happy Trails Discovery Camp is perfect for beginners and offers a first introduction in the world of horses; campers will learn grooming, tacking, riding and horsemanship. Tiny Tot Discovery Camp is geared towards ages 3 – 6 and is a great primer for the tiniest of riders. Step Up Camp is for more advanced riders ages 7 – 18 who are looking to take their riding to the next level. Riders can attend anywhere from 1 week up to 10 weeks! The first two camps are just separated by length, the one week camp, which only runs once, and the two week camp which happens twice during the summer.
Their Specialty Camp is where things begin to get interesting. The one week program teaches riders about different ways of writing and interacting with horses on an advance level. During the week, campers attend a show and compete just for the fun of competition!
Willow Pond Farm, located in Morris County, NJ, is a year-round, full-service horseback riding facility offering lessons and summer camps. Their facility is nestled against the Great Swamp Wildlife Refuge, which offers a peaceful environment to both new and experienced horseback riders who want to connect with their horse and nature.
