While the Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge in Basking Ridge NJ is not necessarily a zoo, we included it on our list because of it's abundance of awesome wildlife habitat. The refuge consists of varied habitats spread out across 7,600 acres of land and has quickly become home to over 244 species of birds.
