A Look Inside The The Asbury Park Distilling Co.

The Asbury Park Distilling Co. likes to call itself a production facility and a place to taste fine spirits.

It is not a typical bar.

Think of it more like a fine tasting room.

They are only allowed to sell alcohol that they make at the location.

You really haven’t lived until you’ve gone to the Asbury Park Distilling Co.

Homemade spirits made from scratch on location

That is because each time you go you are being served a spirit That was made from scratch.

Every single ounce that you consume is created by hand in-house. That includes the alcohol, the tonics, their syrup, and any other mixes that they make for their drinks.

The Asbury Park Distilling Co. is the only distillery in the area since prohibition.

They take pride in creating only the best tasting high-quality spirits by hand.

There you will find the finest whiskeys, bourbons, gins, and vodkas.

Asbury Park Double Barrel Bourbon

They are well-known for their branded Asbury Park Double Barrel Bourbon which is meticulously and perfectly aged in oak barrels.

The color of the bourbon is a little bit on the lighter side and has hints of Carmel, vanilla, charcoal, and various sweetened (and spicy) spices.

Asbury Park Gins

If gin is your thing, the distillery has two offerings for you.

If you like lighter with style gin, you must try their Asbury Park Gin which has hints of sweet orange peel, lemon peel, cardamom, pepper, and Juniper among other blends of spices.

They also make their Asbury Park barrel finished gin which is a light amber color and has hints of fresh oak, Carmel, honeysuckle, and some smoke. This is a perfect sipping gin.

Asbury Park Vodka

Lastly, they offer up their clear sweet and spicy vodka. The bucket is light and clean has a hint of citrus. It also finishes with a touch of pepper.

With homemade, hand prepared, luscious drinkable treats such as an aged barrel finished gin, blended with chocolate and a perfectly creamy or Horchata milk and a sprinkle of freshly grated nutmeg on top.

But with something like that you really can’t go wrong!

Half ounce tastings of vodka are $3

And half-ounce tastings of all of their other spirits range between $4 and $6.

Flights of 4 are available for $14.

You can also enjoy vodka or gin martinis, old fashions, and many other seasonal drinks that they prepare all of the time.
