Avenue  23 Ocean Avenue, Long Beach, NJ 732-759-2900  This beautiful new restaurant was designed by the internationally renowned architect David Collins. We were amazed by how gorgeous and modern the decor was. The food was even better. A very nice lounge and Terrace deck seating make this a great place to bring a date. (But make sure to bring your wallet too!)

The Chop House  4 South Lakeview Drive, Gibbsboro, NJ 856-566-7300 Very classy, expensive and noisy. What more could you want from a classic steakhouse? The Filet Mignon was perfect and was one of the best we have ever had. The Veal chops were delicious too. They have a really cool Martini menu that couples can enjoy. We think it is a bit overpriced (especially some wines) but it is truly a great steakhouse. I guess the old adage is true, "You get what you pay for"!
