Although it may seem corrupt, it is completely legal to have anything that is unverifiable
removed from your credit report. Whether you defaulted on a derogatory item or not, every item on your credit report must be verified. (many companies simply do not have the time or want to get involved with this) 2. Work with creditors, when necessary, by sending customized Creditor Direct (CD) letters. 3. One charge-off was removed from TransUnion and a completely different charge-off was removed from Equifax.
