The Language Workshop for Children Free Childrens Classes in NJ Encourage your young child’s learning ability and sign them up for The Language workshop for Children! Young children are sponges and easily pick up material and information they come across so it is imperative that they are taught important skills such as language early on in life. The workshop welcomes children between the ages of 6 months up to 9 years old. The program, created by François Thibaut, is meant to teach children French, Spanish, Italian, Chinese and English, in a fun and playful way. By making the children’s workshop fun, the kids think they are just playing when, in actuality, they are learning skills many adults never had the opportunity to learn.

This program is free of charge and will take place in various locations throughout New Jersey. For more information, call 800-731-0830.

The Levoy Theatre upcoming southern NJ events Singer/Songwriter Paul Thorn has been pleasing crowds for years with his muscular brand of roots music - bluesy, rocking and thoroughly Southern, yet also speaking universal truths. Pimps and Preachers, which topped the Americana charts for three weeks and broke into the Billboard Top 100, perfectly exemplified the vivid scope of his songwriting. Thorn crafted a disc that All Music Guide lauded as "a great rock & roll album," while The Nation labeled it "an incredible find." Thorn followed that up with a collection, entitled What The Hell Is Goin' On? (Perpetual Obscurity / Thirty Tigers), which finds him putting his own gritty rock stamp on some of his favorite songs.

When Thorn and his band hit the road, he'll be performing both his captivating originals and favored covers, because, as he says, "there are so many great writers out there whose songs need to be heard.”
